RFL 2012/2013 week 5 starts off with Ayam FC facing Bukit Cina FC. It took ayam only 2 minute and 45 second to open the scoring, and after that they never looked back. Ikhwan and Azree scored goal in quick succession to ensure their team went into the break with 3 goals lead. Second half started with Bukit Cina, vowing not to give up, created few chances and pressed forward and was pulled 1 back through Hozen Lim 3rd minute after the restart. However, Ayam soon restored their 3 goal lead via Ikhwan a minute after. Shairy who scored the opening goal of the game was on fire, as he added another 3 goals for his team in 7th,8th and 9th minute of the game. Everything went from bad to worse for Bukit Cina as Kevin scored an own goal in the final seconds of the game.
Overall, a good team game from Ayam ensured they had a big win tonight, while for Bukit Cina, more hard work awaits and they have to regain back the form they showed in first 2 game of the season.

Both team started the game with caution and tried to keep the both with them with a slow tempo game. Both team created many chances but will be disappointed with their poor finishing. For most part of the game, both team tried long range shots instead of playing into the final third of the court, and both the keeper didn't had much to do, and whenever they were called upon, both Rahul and Thana Raj did their job perfectly.
In short, it was an entertaining game for the viewers but a frustrating one for the players!

D'KNIGHTS V BROCCOLI C13
Another high scoring game of the day with overall 10 goals scored, with D'knight recording 7 of it. Shashi was having a nightmare 1st half in the goal as his mistake with all due respect to the scorer (Anantha and Ganesh Panaliappan) led to 2 simple goals for Broccoli C13. Anantha Raj needed only 58 seconds to break the deadlock and give his side the lead. That goal acted as an early wake up call for D'Knights who then went all out to get an equalizer. After being frustrated by excellent Wye Kit, DK finally found the back of the net through John's bazooka in the 6th minute. DK's captain, Vara then put his team in front in the 8th minutes only to see another horror error from Shashi which led to equalizing goal for Broccoli by Ganesh in the closing minute of 1st half.
2nd half started with a completely different tempo, and this time around it was a different DK that showed up compared to the one in 1st half. Only 1 minute after the restart, Vara put his team back in front before prolific goalscorer, Thamil scoring a hatrick with John also scoring one more goal during that time. Aman Ali scored the last goal of the game in the 9th minutes but that was already too late for his team as they were completely outplayed in the 2nd half.

CHITTAPA FC V LETUP LEGACY
This game started off with CFC seeing a lot of possession and creating few chances to trouble their opponents goalkeeper. Their dominance was clear as they took an early lead via Shan when the game was only 2 minutes old. Letup Legacy tried to keep it tight at down with 3 players playing defend and absorbing all the attack. However their resistance was broken once again by Shan before Dalvin had a misfortune of scoring the own goal, giving Chittapa a 3 goal lead by 6th minute of the game. At the closing stage of the 1st half, Iqbal produced a moment of magic and his half volley for side line found the back of the net.
Having four goal lead, does not relax Chittapa FC as they started of 2nd half with same desire for goals, however was frustrated by some poor finishing as well as some good defensive work by Dalvin and Asyraff at the heart of Letup Legacy's defense and also brilliant saves from Harris. Finally in the 4th minute, Sathiya managed to get the 5th goal for his team. At the closing stages of the game, Dalvin managed to pull one back for his team, however it proved to be only a consolation.

SATAY FC V RAPTORZ C.F.
A game which promised so much before the match, and really managed to live up to that expectation. 1st half goal from Ariff ensured Satay goes into half time with a 1 goal lead which was soon doubled 2 minutes into the 2nd half via brilliant header from Hanif. Hanif's goal certainly served as a wake up call for Raptorz who then upped their tempo in search for a goal to keep them in game and that goal finally arrived in the 7th minute via Mooney. Mooney's goal rejuvenated the side and their dominance in the final 5 minute of game paid off with Shan getting the equalizing goal in the 8th minute. Not sure Raptorz should be happy with the comeback or dissapointed with their failure to convert the their chances in the dying minutes of game where both Mooney and Shan had their shot coming off the cross-bar. It was a nervy ending for the team from M1 as they had to held-off to earn that 1 point.

PROTOTYPE FC V ZERO FOOTBALLERS FC
This game started off with real shock as within 16 seconds Zero Footballers got their 1st goal of the season through new singing Kavesh, and his goal was greeted with great round of applause by the fans in the stand! However, it took only 30 seconds for Aruldish to level the score via a controversial penalty and then in the 5th minute Nishan put Prototype in front with a great finish. Zero Footballers FC looked like a completely different team with their 3 new singings (Kavesh, Mugilan and Aaron) and they manage to level things up in the 8th minutes with Kavesh finding the net again.
The 2nd half started with Prototype looking more dangerous and trying to find for goals however were constantly denied by Shivaraj who was surely in top form. Shivaraj, injuring his shoulder while trying to make a diving save in the 5th minute bring an early end to his game as he had to leave the court to get the treatment, with Ryan taking his place in the goal. It was during this time, Prototype finally roared and with Aruldish getting 3 goals, Nishan adding 1, and Ganesh adding another two for his team. Mugilan then managed to close the gap with the last kick of the game.
